Starting next week via an update out now, Kintaro and Bo Rai Cho will be challenge characters jn MKX Mobile.

Hanzo has the best passive of the three, but has two specials that are basically the same. Lame as always.


Kintaro is just his MK9 appearance, with Goro's throw from MK X as special 2. Lame too.


Bo' Rai Cho is the only character in which they put some creativity into. His moves are funny, his animations are good for a mobile game. His flask is yellow, while it should be red in his fire breather variation, minor hiccup.

End of the story, I hope there is more in this update because 1.17 is very barebone as it is.

Next update will likely be the next Anniversary update. Thats when Shang will likely drop. Theyve also been promising some stuff to be added to Faction Wars store. Before all is said and done we are definitely getting Leatherface and Shang. On top of that, Rain and Sindel are just as highly likely. I would also wager since Jade made it, Noob might as well.

It's two years that we are waiting for some significant QoL update, and yet:

-the tutorial is unskippable every time you log out/log in. Something that needed to be updated since day 1.

-Recycled stuff

-X-Rays recycled from mk9, ironically Freddy Krueger is the only one who has had a new x-ray...

-lack of Fatalities and Brutalities

-lack of players interaction

-no real sense of.accomplishment

-abysmal balancing

-no punishment for hackers

And I could go on forever.

To be fair they did just recently get rid of like 90% of the hackers in Faction Wars. Its actuslly playable now.

Lol, I found out that Kintaro has the same X-Ray of Goro.
And according to Starinsky the game is full of hackers, that's because the game is too easy to hack.
