I'm honestly completely and utterly surprised all of you can call yourself Mortal Kombat fans and still every one of you talks about how weird Mileena's mouth being like that with the scars.

Did no one here actually watch the first season of Legacy? In eps 4 and 5, the Mileena/Kitana two parter, she has the scars too, though less defined, and it's along those scars that her mouth splits open.

Now... Some of you are saying Kitana is on the anti-Earth side, but the only character I see her fighting is Mileena, so I don't get it. Am I missing something? I watched it 3 times (so far). Btw, Mileena is trying to hit Kitana with f3, 1+2 lol.

Kenshi looks great, very excited to see what they do with him. I don't know about Ermac, his MKD primary costume is my all time favorite MK costume and his MK2011 designs are also pretty badass, so I'm having trouble getting to like this Legacy design.

Poor Stryker. I hope he turns around that fight and kicks Liu's a$$! Not sure what to think of Hanzo & Bi-Han sparring as kids, got me confused.

It looks like Stryker is still bottom tier.

Kang's beatdown on Stryker is seriously vicious, but I doubt he'll actually kill him. There's no way Liu Kang will be evil through and through.

Holy shit I cannot wait! Zombie Ermac, Evil Liu, Sporty Sub Zero and all.....change is good!

I honestly have very mixed feelings about this...but, I'm glad there has been a positive reception so far (for Mk's sake...).

Best things about the whole trailer/MKL 2 that stood out for me:

- Liu Kang (probably the most badass thing about MKL2)
- Kitana and Mileena
- Shang Tsung (second most badass after Liu)
- Improved SFX
- Johnny Cage (despite the fact that I'm still pissed they replaced Matt who was flawless).
- Kung Lao
- Having Stryker and Kenshi is really cool, but, they didn't really wow me just yet.

Mixed to Bad things:

- The extremely corny "Get over here" beginning of the trailer with Scorpion's dad...that did not look natural or cool at all. It was so forced. Not a bad idea I guess, but, pretty lame acting there.

- Raiden still looking nothing like Raiden. I don't really get or like this idea for his look. It reminds me of the idiotic MKA moment where Raiden went from having long white hair to a blonde short "cool" cut.

- Ermac looks cool but its weird seeing him without a mask. That looks more like Quan Chi. Nothing like Ermac. Terrifying cool look though.

- Kitana's costume looked much better in the first revealed picture. I'm disappointed she's not as covered as the costume originally suggested with those black under pants and under shirt (no long sleeves either?). It even made us all believe she'd wear pants to cover up the full legs. Still looks pretty great, but, I got confused/tricked with the long sleeves/pants illusion. I loved the costume with the black material in the pic.

- Still undecided about Scorpion's mask and Sub-Zero's overall costume. Sub-Zero looks more like how Stryker looked in his MKA costume.

- Whatever happened to the other characters that were confirmed for MKL2? How can there not be a Sonya if this is based on the original events and the whole beginning of the MK tournament? And of course Kano, Goro, etc. A shame. Hopefully they'll have their big part in the movie as they did with MKL1.

- The overall "implied storyline" in this trailer is bothering me...it does not look to be a truthful or faithful adaptation of the first tournament events as Kevin promised in his big video.... will stay positive till i see what he offers in episode 1. So far, I'm not really that excited. I like some of the new twists, but, this really isn't MK1 (not yet, anyway).

Since we don't really know what Ermac looks like without his mask on, I'll accept that look for him if at some point he does have a mask on. If the mask is present and that's just how they choose to make him look without his mask, then I can accept that.

I'm not feeling this whole "Liu siding with the bad guys" thing, even if it turns out to be a fake or he gets convinced to switch back at the end.

Although, if he were to be darker or disillusioned with humanity, the drinking could be taken as a fun nod to the fact that his mentor was a drunk.
I do like seeing how much special effects we're in for. Really nice to see there will be no shying away from the characters having powers, with all the teleports and Liu throwing fire.

I'll watch it, but I'm probably not gonna like it, it looks miles better than the first one, which I hated.

Gotta say, Liu still reminds me more of Jin Kazama than Liu Kang. And yeah, strong dislike for Sub's appearance. The MKL1 costume looked way better. But I'll wait to see before I judge at all.

Not really seeing where the "Evil Liu" stuff is coming from.
He's obviously a more conflicted character than we know from the games, but it strikes me that Tancharoen is basing his version very much in the first thirty minutes of the 1995 film (with a bit more mopey, Jin Kazama bitterness). Instead of scoffing Raiden and talking vengeance in slacks, he's getting in bar fights and having dinner with Shang Tsung.

This is the tournament, so a fight with Stryker isn't any indication of allegiance. Not sure what else there is to go by. Really just expect a 'gritty omg dark' version of a Liu Kang who left the temple and joined the modern world. Jaded, brooding and an ugly cliche, rather than evil.

This might sound crazy, but I'm not really happy with all the special Moves thrown in. I liked the aspect of regular people suddenly being thrust into this crazy world of gods, mythological creatures and sorcery. It made characters like Sub-Zero and Scorpion even more special in the first Movie, when not every single character could throw a fireball.

I guess I'm ok with Liu Kang's fireball, if they focus on the whole inner chi thing. But Kung Lao's teleport is already too much for me. Controlling chi is one thing, but displacing your body, when you are just an earth trained monk? At least Scorpion has the excuse that he's a Spectre. Can't like 80% of the MK cast teleport in games? It would suck if it's the same case in the 2nd season of the web series.

Kitana should have Mileena's hair style. It fits Kitana way more than the ugly bun.

It's awesome they have the same guy from the movie playing Shang Tsung. I'm down for him to reprise the role for the upcoming movie, if there is actually going to be one.

I think it's weird that they had Lui Kang on the destroy earth side. Kitana is at this point on the destroy earth side so I don't see why people are complaining about that.

I'm not sure how I feel about scorpion's mask, kinda cool, kinda weird.

Did you read the parts with words on the screen? I know sometimes when people watch trailers, they don't catch words-on-the-screen parts, like their brain filters them out because they tend to be generic or flash by too quickly, but the trailer literally introduces the characters in order based on what side they're on.

It goes "Some will fight to destroy our world" and then the names Shang Tsung, Ermac, Scorpion, Mileena, Kitana, and Liu Kang are displayed.

Then it shows Liu Kang telling Kung Lao "You're naive to think humanity is worth protecting."

Then it goes "Others will rise to protect it" and names Raiden, Kenshi, Johnny Cage, Stryker, Sub-Zero, and Kung Lao.

i like liu kang going dark like i suggested...funny how everyone was just complaining a few years ago how he was all boring. now they try to put something spicy into his character and people complain.

I kinda like the conflicted Liu Kang. I'm guessing Kitana will convert him to Earth's side, since they'll probably be buddies under Shang's command. And Mileena really looks like Sindel, especially when she's screams
