I'm going to go 1 random step further and sugest "Blue" IS Sub zero!! Think about it... we never saw the photograph of sub zero in the rebirth trailer... the character playing scorpion has been known for ages (mostly because of the rebirth trailer) yet the character playing Sub zero is STILL secret... And there is no reason why Sub zero can't be changed to a girl. If they are going to mess with cannon... why not go all the way?

Ever since i heard the codename blue i've been thinking about sub zero...I would really like your oppions on this too - something to think/argue about!!

Thank God the director confirmed that this "Blue" isn't Kitana, because if it were or is, well, what a huge disappointment. When it comes to Kitana's physical appearance, this actress certainly doesn't fit the bill. Not to say that she's ugly or anything, she just doesn't live up up to my personal expectations of what Kitana should look like. Talisa Soto will forever be the quintessential "live action" Kitana until someone even more suitable takes the reigns.

That computer generated image shown as a flash is hardly evidence that Sub Zero is a dude... though going back over rebirth Sonya does say the MAN you killed was HIS brother.

I guess we can take Sub Zero off the board.... for now

It's weird that nobody has talked about the blue'ish substance on her hands and throat. Any guesses what it could be? Looks like cyborg goo to me.

Im very dissapointed, when i still opening this web page, and dont see new in game trailers of mk9, only this shitty pictures from movie. Im absolutely not interested in this stupid movie, i wanna see only pics and trailers from game...

I dont think its anything Sub-Zero or Frost related. She has the same blue substance on her face thats on her hands and it simply looks like paint

@JediSith: I'm actually starting to wonder the same thing too. Maybe's she a failed first experiment and and if that Blue stuff is blood/oil I can only imagine the automation process being painful

Sub-Zero's sister sounds like a nice guess.

Blue better be a codename because its kind of corny (well, not too different from being called "Scorpion" and "Sub-Zero" and "Reptile", I guess).

I have a feeling she'll just be a new character.

I want my Frost to have her stylish hair-do. Please.
