I like it. I haven't seen a full ink drawing in quite a while. 5 dragons. Although I do hav e a few negative comments, but not toward you _bathori_.

How can you guys say stuff like 3/5 and 5/5 and yet not actually rate the actual piece? Secondly, like bathori said, how can you accuse someone of somethign with no proof? Okay, nap time for me *head falls on keyboard*

Almost every time there is a good drawing piece on this board, you think you've seen it on a website. Look at his drawing of Motaro. Don't the styles seem similar to you?

I must give this a 5/5, although even close-up I can't tell what everything is because there is so much black in the picture.
If I could draw like that, I would save this board...

This is one of my favourite pics I've had a look at on this forum for a while now...and a rare thing to see a fully inked peice of Artwork done up with skill, a welcome change.

The pose, the design, the fleshed out inks and detailing make this a sure-fire 5/5 for a rating. Hope to see more!

As a side note, do you put the yin and yang symbol in every peice you make?
It seems to be a recurring theme in all of them that I've seen thus far that you've done is all. Just wondered what the reasoning behind it was?

Many of you have commented on how dark this pic is. The original image was intended to be backlit with only ambient light showing detail, prehaps i went a bit overboard on it.

YEAH PREDATOR!!!!!!!! seriously though, the original helmet design was derived from the predador designs, though my design was for a fantasy setting. The helmet has been redesigned may times since then but its roots are still in predator.

What i was going for was to have him twisting upwards with clouds of smoke around. basicly catch him mid-teleport. Hopefully i'll be able to bring this across more clearly in colour.

Way way back in the day when i first started mk fan art i gathered all the MK related imagery i could find. IMHO one of the things that make a series a series is a consistant set of iconography used though out. Next to the dragon logo (which is also in all my mk art), the yin/yang was the most common icon appear in official mk art.

Ok all i can say is, how on earth could you give this less than 5 stars. Monochrome ink pictures like this show real talent for art,drawing, and giving an exciting style to the picture, not just coloring it and making it superficially accurate to what the subjects description is. This and the picture of Motaro are the 2 best on this board FULL STOP. No amount of using psp to edit and color drawings can give the ultimate cool-factor and exciting glint that these pictures have.

PS. i realise i may be WELL behind times with this post, but i only just joined these boards, so -.-

Wow that's really great. One of the best things i've seen. I rate it 5 dragon. That's really awesome.
