Sonya Concept Art

Artist's Remarks:

This character concept was drawn by ‘Jax007’, which I colored. This was done before the Kabal picture but after I saw how well that one came out I decided to shade the Sonya one before submitting it. I still think the shading could be a little too subtle, but let me know what you think. I should also thank ‘Zombie’ as I copied the back ground idea from him & he’s given me a few shading pointers in the past. Cheers.

Cool coloring, although I think the colors are too pale and you didn't do too much shadowing.

the drawing itself is really good. I like her pose and the way her head is facing. Her hair looks good and her eyes. I dont like the lips. It looks weird. Her outfit is nicely done. The coloring was pretty good too, should have used some shading, it would have made the picture look better. overall it was good. 4/5

"Subtle" is definately the word as I don't really see any at all. I see Jax's excellent drawing and colors laid on top of it.

Needs the lighting balanced, shadows cast, shaded areas of the body, some color variation. I do now see very vaugue color changes but nothing near necessary. It makes it appear color-by-number.

I love you colouring in general. I think everyone's fellings are the same, but we also feel that different tones are needed in your style to bring it out more. Sonya a great drawing that JAX did and I'd love to learn colouring from you. It's the shades of tones that's needed in your work though.

But that's not stopping me from giving you a 4.5/5 rating!

Looks awesome, no bullshitting. I like the choice of pants there... gives it a real soldier feel. I love that US Flag design top, too. Reminds me of SF2's Guile, where he had the US flag tattooed on both of his shoulders, though you took a different approach to it, which is cool.

Definitely a 5/5.
