Reptile Design

Artist's Remarks:
My re-design for Reptile. I wanted to make him a little snake like so I added a cobra hood. I also added parts of past incarnations of him

I like this a lot, the cobra hood is a great idea. And this is coming from someone who hates the idea of ninja Reptile.

Like others have said, great work on the hood. Probably one of the best design ideas I've seen in a long while. Everything else is stock-standard Reptile, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

The cobra-like flared hood is a neat design. The costume itself is solid, a nice combo of MKSM and MK9 similar to the one I drew for my MK2 roster...I do like the touches of brown color on his scales, particularly on his fingers.

One thing I might suggest though is that your shading and black areas are a little too dark in places that make it hard to see the little details, like his mouth mask.

I'm also not sure tabi shoes fits him, if you're gonna go with the scaly green skin, then he usually he has big three-toed lizard feet too.

Yeah I was debating about whether I should have him be bare foot or not. I agree with the mask I could have lightened it a bit. Thank you for your feedback.

It reminds me of an old artwork of Reptile... can't remember who made it, but he too had that cobra-like features. All in all, I think it looks fantastic.

His feet should be showing though.
I'm also not a fan of the mask, it's too similar to the other "Ninjas", the Movie mask might work better here. Other than that, its sweet.

I think I know what your talking about. I saw a reptile drawing done by the artist ermaxtla on a website called tygerlander way back. his version had a cobra high collar and resembled the mk4 version of reptile. I was trying to look for it, but no luck. Thank you for your feedback!

I think it'd be more fitting to give him some facewrap like in MKSM instead of that mask; it seems out of place. And as others have said, we need to see his rotten toes!

yeah I could of gone withe face wrap. I was actually going to put his mk 4 mask on, but went with this one instead. Thanks for your feedback!

wow its like you took all different elements of reptile weve seen and added you're own unique spin to it

Man, screw that shit. Boon only responds to people who set him up to make a "funny" joke. I'd pay 100 dollars to use this costime in MK9. Great work, and I hope Boon gets over his unfunny jokes.
