Rain - Revised Outfit

Artist's Remarks:

The pose is from the MK9 Rain Syco Collectibles statuette based on his winning pose in the game and his outfit is inspired from his MK9 and MK: Armageddon main outfits. I tried to deviate from the typical MK ninja look with the V-vest, loincloth and mask, but kept the arm, shoulder and leg guards. I loved his hair in MK: Armageddon, so I took that and made it a bit wilder looking. I also made him hover a bit above ground to make it look like he is about to summon a storm with the use of his demi-god powers.

Yay! Rain!

I like the slight purple tint of the iris. I miss the garb though v.v

But I really like the design overall, boots are my fav. And I always thought the cape was a nice touch for Rain.

Personally, I want all the "MK ninjas" to look more unique from one another, hence why I chose not to give Rain the V-vest, loincloth and mask. I'd rather see him more as the demi-god than the assassin.

I like the Royal look with the cape and all. And I was a fan of his ponytail in Armageddon. The only negative things I have to say is that his facial expression looks too carefree (rather than menacing) and doesn't go too well with his victory pose. Other than that, love the costume.

This is a really nice design for Rain Raven! I like how it moves him away from the ninja look and goes towards his royal side.
