It's a very cool drawing, but I can hardly call that Scorpion. It just looks too monstrous... Hm, makes me think more of Monster in Deception.

Wow you have some very unique style, never seen anything like it, and thats a good thing.
I just love the overall feel and dark, lone, sorta evil theme to it, keep drawing man, you definitly have artistic talent.
Even though I had to think twice about who it was, I like what you did with it.

Its like a Steampunk scorpion.... kind of reminds me of later Yoshimitsus forms... mostly in the way that one of the most iconic characters is modernized and transformed.

It looks pretty cool, i like it.

It has a bit of a Biomechanical look to it, which i really like. Its a really fresh and original take on Scorpion, and I'd like to see more of your ideas for this MK: Origins.

Scorpion en Hell?

I love it. It looks like what he may have resembled during his transformation in Hell, before coming back to Earth to kill Sub-Zero.

Kinda like Noob Saibots transition into being a wrath, or what kind of process Quan Chi may have gone through in his transition to look more human. Looks like Scorpions own deterioration process.

I'd love to see something like this displayed somewhere in his story with a short description of what's going on with him in this time-period.

Like his segue between human, being tortured in hell, and becoming spectre...more please. Alot of characters have these "shady-grey" areas in their stories that have never been shown.

For some reason, I associate this picture with something from Star Wars. If Scorpion were to appear in Star Wars, he would look like something like this...

Though I do not think this looks very MK'ish, I still like your style and think this is a very nice piece of art. I would love to see more from you with other characters as well. ^^

Anyone have any way to contact the artist and make sure this is not stolen? I'm sort of confused why he'd visit the site and only submit the Scorpion when all the rest of these are up too. I'd like to have them all here on the site, but I'm sort of wary now because it doesn't make sense to me.

If this is the real artist, could you reply back to confirm?

Yeah, this redesign was probably the one that departed the most from the original character. I have a whole story I'm working on, but his mask and jacket are supposed to be burial items that he wore when his clan buried him. So when he comes back to life it gives you a more powerful sense of Scorpion's coming back from death.

Please read the Community FAQ before posting further. A message board does not work like an instant messenger. Yeah, if you're trying to respond to multiple people use our quote system. It's html, but as I'm doing here, you can quote the original thing you want to respond to by clicking the "Add Original" button. That'll bring up a quote box, so you can control who the replies are directed too. You can include multiple quotes in one response too.

Like SEGAmaniac7 said, your style is very unique. The actual design on Scorpion is fantastic. It gives him more of a "loner nomad" look, lost in a apocalyptic world, trying to keep his identity secret with the hood.

I love it.
