I must say I like your other picture much better, you went over board on the veins here, they should be used sparingly if at all. His fingers and head are also oddly shaped, it just doesnt remind me of jax. You also have the consistent problem with making the legs to small, they again look pretty well drawn but they are way to small for his upper body.

I'm not really wild about this one. As you said in your description, you weren't originally drawing Jax, and I think it shows somewhat. The head really doesn't look like Jax, he wasn't bald in MKII and the face is too pudgy to be him. I am guessing you intended to draw the body out of proportion as such, like a steriod using type character. I've seen alot of those, I've never really cared for them personally but if you intended to draw it as such it isn't a true mistake. But I do think you went a bit overboard with the veins, and they don't have enough texture, they seem a bit 'flat' to me. The hands aren't so great, the fingers are a bit blocky.

The legs on him just don't match up with his body. Just way too small, and the left leg looks in an odd position. The pants would have been nice though, it the legs had been in proportion. I wouldn't ever suggest just 'turning' a drawing that you didn't intend to be a certain character into to one, it doesn't usually yield the greatest of results.

Hmm, I agree with Crow, I'm not particularly fond of this either.
I think you went overboard on the muscles, particularly the arms, and especially the veins, lol.
Yeah, as I'm sure you can tell, the legs are a bit small in comparison to the body, and Jax was not bold, as mentioned.
Anyhow, good attempt .

Well I understand you guys must not like the whole mis-proportioned deal, but my style is somewhat of a charicature(sp?) comic book type style. And in comics the characters are always exagerated. If you want next time I will try and draw a more realistic type style, but that is just how I draw naturally.

The actual drawing style is pretty good. It resembles something of a comic book drawing, but a poorly done character. No offense.

Imo, you should have just kept the character anonymous instead of deciding to make it Jax, as it really doesn't look like him. The anatomy, as in the Reptile pic, is way off. If you take the advice I gave you in your Reptile post, you should do fine later on. His face has little to no distinct characteristics whatsoever. The whole thing looks really awkward and bland. Try to improve on the facial characteristics and the actual head. Making it longer will give it a more realistic look. The veins have to go to. If you can't integrate the veins into your picture flawlessly, then put it off, and work on the anatomy first, then follow up by observing some good drawings that have many veins. That should help a lot.
