ok there are a couple things to change here, one the backround only darkens not the sprites i can harldy see them now, they look ok from what i can see, but i cant see much, bad monitor. also i think the win total there is a little well, to impossible, lol, you might want to look at that. 2.5/5

Okay, this does seem like a "cleaned up" fake, but I feel that the idea is just too simple. And with me not being a fan of crossover fakes......anyway .

- MK2 lifebars have no score keeping, where the score is there should be a "Wins: 01" or any other number that is greater than "01".
- Speaking of lifebars, they both have one win mark. Blizzard should have two as he has clearly won the battle.
- Blizzard's lifebar is fillin up toward the centre, i.e. MKDA style. It should fill up toward the end.
- It's nice that you added a shadow, however, it's just an elipse. A shadow of the character shape would be nice.
- In MK2 the lifebars do not dim when the background darkens, and the sprites don't dim in any MK.
- Goro's lair was only playable versus Jade in MK2, but that's not really important.

Good things:
+ You did include most everything, dimmed background shadows, decent lifebars.

While that is so, I still feel the idea is just too simplistic, a head smash.

Ok, its good you tried to dim this, but as forthmentioned, only the background should dim. First, its too hard to see if you dim everything, and secondly that's how the game does it. The lifebars don't keep score, as mentioned, its not really a big thing but if you want that true 'game' feel its important. Nice you thought about shadows though, but Jax should also have one of some sort. And Blizzard should have a shadow matching his appearance. If you use paint, than there is a tutorial in the thread that has been stickied at the top of the page entitled "Opinions on how fakes should be done". If you use another program, there should be a shadow tool somewhere. And two win tokens should be given to Blizzard.

The idea of this is rather simple I guess, but since you used a non MK character I guess its a bit different. The sprites for both characters were well chosen, but you placed them to far to the left I think. It sort of makes the right side of this seem a bit bland. The blood isn't so bad looking, but its not easy to see because you darkened it. Anyway, I'm not a real fan of cross-over things, but this is pretty cool I guess, the character you chose isn't so far outside the realm of MK I guess.

ps: the shadow to blizzard IS adjusted to his size because it's ripped along with the sprite from the original game...

It's much better.
However, there are a few problems:

- Win marks/win texts placements, just a bit off. Win marks are always at the end (they are just a bit away from it here). They should also be closer together.
- The only other thing is the shadow. What I meant was it should be in the shape of Blizzard.

Check the sticky thread at the top of this forum entitled "Opinions on how fakes should be done". In there, I have enclosed one of my really "cool" (lol) tutorials, that will teach you how to do shadows in paint. I'm assuming by the way you dimmed the background that you have something better than paint, so there should be less of a problem .

But as I said, the thing that brings the fake down is that it's kind of boring, lol. It's a head crush done by a non-mk character. But as I also said, it's good that you included the "required" foundation stuff .

Well I did like it very much!

I loved Primal Rage! Especially the fact that the dinosaurs were based on MK characters. For example: Sub-Zero = Blizzard, Diablo = Scorpion, Talon = Baraka, Chaos = Reptile, Armadon = Kano.

If theirs one thing I love,its crossovers.They can be as crappy as they want
but it doesn't mean I won't love'em. I'll give you a 9.5/10.
