Whos in charge of TIME in MK World?

When i play, i use 20sec rounds, ive noticed that if i beat two characters, @ two rounds each, totaling four rounds, that should = 1:20secs correct? Well in MK time, that = to about 2:37secs? has anyone else noticed this as well?

That is kinda weird, but it may include fatality time or the time in between rounds (before & after).

It includes bot fatality time and in between time I believe . If you want to beat it quick, hit them with a normal attack as soon as it says
"Finish Him/Her."
